XAUUSD Super Agent: An Advanced Gold Trading Analysis and Research Platform

Trading gold successfully requires more than watching a single indicator or reacting to every candlestick pattern. XAUUSD can move rapidly around economic releases, liquidity transitions, changes in the US dollar, bond yields, and institutional positioning. A setup that looks attractive on a five-minute chart may directly conflict with the hourly, daily, or weekly structure.

XAUUSD Super Agent v1.0.0 was designed to make that complexity easier to research.

It is an advanced, deterministic, research-only market analysis platform for gold versus the US dollar. The application combines multi-timeframe candle analysis, support and resistance, Smart Money Concepts, Fibonacci levels, Fair Value Gaps, moving-average structure, RSI momentum, opportunity tracking, risk controls, historical testing, and transparent decision-quality gates.

The system does not automatically place or manage live trades. Instead, it helps traders, researchers, and developers answer a more disciplined question:

What is happening across the XAUUSD market, what conditions would confirm a setup, and what evidence would invalidate it?

This article explains the complete architecture, features, workflow, safety controls, dashboards, research tools, installation process, and limitations of the XAUUSD Super Agent.

What Is the XAUUSD Super Agent?

The XAUUSD Super Agent is a Python-based gold market scanner and paper-trading research platform designed to work with MetaTrader 5.

It obtains broker-specific XAUUSD data, analyzes completed candles, generates conditional research scenarios, applies multiple safety gates, records decisions, and presents the results through desktop and web interfaces.

The application is built around several important principles:

  • Completed candles are used for authoritative analysis.
  • Higher-timeframe information must be available at the decision timestamp.
  • Indicators are treated as evidence rather than guarantees.
  • Correlated indicators are not counted as independent confirmation.
  • Risk and portfolio controls remain separate from technical setup scoring.
  • Historical statistics are not presented as guaranteed future probabilities.
  • Optional external context cannot override broker prices or risk controls.
  • The software remains in research, shadow, and paper-trading mode.

XAUUSD Super Agent is therefore not a “buy and sell signal robot.” It is better described as an XAUUSD technical analysis and decision-support environment.

What Is New in XAUUSD Super Agent v1.0.0?

Version 1.0.0 significantly expands the original application into an advanced gold research command center.

The release includes:

  • Eight-timeframe closed-candle analysis
  • A weighted candle-consensus matrix
  • Advanced Fibonacci and OTE mapping
  • Fair Value Gap and inverse FVG analysis
  • Persistent FVG lifecycle tracking
  • Point-in-time FVG outcome research
  • Buy-side and sell-side liquidity mapping
  • Displacement and price-delivery analysis
  • Confirmed Smart Money Concepts
  • Order blocks and breaker blocks
  • EMA and SMA ribbon analysis
  • Multi-period RSI momentum analysis
  • A staged opportunity radar
  • Multi-timeframe opportunity clustering
  • A responsive standalone radar dashboard
  • Evidence-only AI analysis exports
  • Optional gold-specific macro and positioning context
  • Expanded automated testing and validation

The new features were inspired by a sophisticated BTC market research system. However, Bitcoin-only assumptions were not copied directly into the gold application.

Crypto funding rates, liquidation data, exchange dispersion, open interest, spot Bitcoin ETF flows, and CME cryptocurrency gaps were replaced by optional gold-relevant inputs such as:

  • US Dollar Index changes
  • US Treasury yield changes
  • Real-yield changes
  • Gold futures activity
  • COT positioning
  • Gold options implied volatility
  • Put/call open-interest ratios

This preserves feature depth without pretending that Bitcoin and gold have identical market structures.

Eight-Timeframe XAUUSD Analysis

One of the most important additions is complete analysis across eight timeframes:

  • M1
  • M5
  • M15
  • M30
  • H1
  • H4
  • D1
  • W1

Each timeframe has a different analytical role.

TimeframePrimary purpose
M1Execution-near microstructure
M5Fast confirmation
M15Intraday setup development
M30Intermediate market structure
H1Primary intraday trend
H4Swing-market context
D1Daily regime and directional structure
W1Strategic market context

The scanner retrieves completed OHLCV candles from MetaTrader 5. The currently forming candle is excluded from authoritative strategy decisions.

This reduces a common source of misleading signals: patterns that appear during candle formation but disappear before the candle closes.

The Closed-Candle Matrix

The closed-candle matrix summarizes the condition of every available timeframe.

For each timeframe, the matrix evaluates:

  • Candle direction
  • Candle body percentage
  • Upper and lower wick proportions
  • Named candlestick patterns
  • Short-term trend
  • Momentum
  • Price location
  • Timeframe-specific score
  • Bullish, bearish, neutral, or unavailable bias
  • Alignment with the broader market structure

Higher timeframes receive more weight than lower timeframes. The weekly chart therefore contributes more to broad directional context than the one-minute chart.

The matrix also provides:

  • Overall coverage percentage
  • Consensus direction
  • Weighted consensus score
  • Alignment percentage
  • Available and missing timeframes
  • Higher-timeframe opposition warnings

Candle Confirmation Gate

The candle matrix is not only a visual tool. It can also act as an alert-quality gate.

A high-grade signal may be blocked when:

  • Required timeframe coverage is incomplete
  • Higher-timeframe candles strongly oppose the proposed direction
  • The latest candle evidence does not confirm the setup
  • The signal is based on an unconfirmed or currently forming candle

Research watchlist candidates may still be displayed, but their blockers remain visible.

Advanced Fibonacci Analysis for XAUUSD

XAUUSD Super Agent includes a multi-leg Fibonacci engine rather than relying on a single manually selected swing.

The system evaluates:

  • Latest confirmed alternating-pivot swing
  • 50-bar range
  • 200-bar range
  • Active impulse direction
  • Premium and discount
  • Equilibrium
  • ATR-normalized distance
  • Fibonacci level clustering
  • Price and time symmetry

Supported Fibonacci Levels

The research packet includes commonly monitored retracement references:

  • 23.6%
  • 38.2%
  • 50%
  • 61.8%
  • 65% golden pocket
  • 70.5% OTE reference
  • 78.6%
  • 100%

It also includes extension levels:

  • 1.272
  • 1.618
  • 2.0

The application can identify zones where levels from multiple Fibonacci legs cluster within a volatility-normalized tolerance.

These clusters are treated as areas of confluence, not guaranteed reversal points.

Optimal Trade Entry and Premium/Discount Context

The system calculates an OTE-style retracement zone using the current qualified swing.

For bullish impulses, the software can monitor a return into the discount portion of the swing. For bearish impulses, it can monitor a return into premium.

The output includes:

  • Swing high
  • Swing low
  • Impulse direction
  • OTE-zone boundaries
  • Distance from the current price
  • Distance measured in ATR
  • Premium, discount, or equilibrium state
  • Nearest extension objectives
  • Required closed-candle confirmation

An OTE touch is never presented as sufficient evidence by itself. The radar still expects confirmation, acceptable risk-to-reward geometry, and agreement with the remaining safety controls.

Fair Value Gap Analysis

The Fair Value Gap engine tracks price imbalances using completed candles.

Each FVG record may contain:

  • Direction
  • Formation timestamp
  • Upper and lower boundaries
  • Width
  • Width relative to ATR
  • Midpoint
  • Consequent encroachment
  • Age
  • Freshness
  • Quality score
  • Fill percentage
  • Mitigation state
  • Touch count
  • First-touch timestamp
  • Bars to first touch
  • Maximum reaction in ATR
  • Remaining imbalance
  • Distance from the current price
  • Formation-session classification

FVG Lifecycle States

Fair Value Gaps can progress through several states:

  • NEW: The zone has just appeared.
  • OPEN: The imbalance remains active.
  • PARTIAL: Price has mitigated only part of the gap.
  • FILLED: Price has fully traversed the gap.
  • INVERTED: A completed candle closed through the gap and changed its role.
  • EXPIRED: The zone disappeared for the configured number of scanner cycles.

This lifecycle prevents the interface from treating every historical FVG as equally relevant.

Inverse FVG, Balanced Price Ranges and Liquidity Voids

The price-delivery engine goes beyond basic FVG identification.

Inverse Fair Value Gaps

An FVG can become an inverse FVG only after a completed candle closes through it. The original bullish or bearish imbalance can then be monitored as a potential opposite-side reaction zone.

Balanced Price Ranges

A Balanced Price Range is identified when opposing active imbalances overlap. This may describe an area where competing delivery structures intersect.

Stacked FVGs

The system groups nearby same-direction Fair Value Gaps. A stacked zone may be stronger than a single isolated gap, but its score remains a ranking rather than a prediction.

Liquidity Voids

Multiple adjacent gaps can form a broader delivery sequence. The system tracks these sequences as liquidity voids and reports their location, direction, and proximity.

Nested FVGs

A smaller imbalance located inside a broader active gap is classified as a nested structure. Nested zones are available to the opportunity radar as additional price-delivery context.

Persistent FVG Tracking

XAUUSD Super Agent assigns stable identifiers to FVG zones.

The identifier incorporates:

  • Timeframe
  • FVG type
  • Formation time
  • Lower boundary
  • Upper boundary

This allows the application to distinguish a genuine state change from a zone that appears unchanged on consecutive scans.

The tracker records:

  • First-seen time
  • Last-seen time
  • Missing cycles
  • Current state
  • State-change history
  • Latest transition events

Only new or changed states generate lifecycle events. This prevents repeated alerts for the same unchanged zone.

Point-in-Time FVG Research

Historical FVG statistics can easily become misleading if future information is accidentally used during setup formation.

The XAUUSD Super Agent addresses this with a point-in-time research model.

The process is:

  1. Identify the FVG using only information available at formation.
  2. Freeze the formation-time features.
  3. Wait for a later price touch.
  4. Apply the selected entry-reference model.
  5. Use a finite evaluation horizon.
  6. Record stop or target results.
  7. Treat same-bar stop-and-target ambiguity conservatively as a stop.
  8. Aggregate results only after the trade is resolved.

The report can include:

  • Resolved sample count
  • Win rate
  • Expectancy in R
  • Profit factor
  • Drawdown in R
  • Touch speed
  • Outcome distribution
  • Performance by timeframe
  • Performance by research model

A minimum-sample gate prevents a tiny number of outcomes from being presented as reliable evidence.

Smart Money Concepts for Gold

The SMC engine uses confirmed, closed-candle structure.

It avoids treating an unconfirmed local high or low as a valid swing.

Confirmed Fractal Swings

A swing is published only after the required right-side candles have closed. This introduces confirmation delay, but it protects the system from using future knowledge.

Market Structure Classification

Confirmed swings are used to classify:

  • Higher high
  • Higher low
  • Lower high
  • Lower low
  • Bullish structure
  • Bearish structure
  • Transition state
  • Insufficient structure

Break of Structure

A BOS event requires a completed-candle break of a confirmed structural reference.

Change of Character

A CHOCH event describes a completed break that conflicts with the prevailing structural sequence.

Neither event automatically approves an entry.

Order Blocks and Breaker Blocks

The application derives research-grade order-block records associated with confirmed structure events.

An order-block packet can include:

  • Direction
  • Candle body boundaries
  • Wick boundaries
  • Midpoint
  • Age
  • Distance from price
  • Mitigation status
  • Invalidation status
  • Quality score
  • Associated BOS or CHOCH
  • Timeframe

A breaker block is recognized only after a completed candle invalidates the original block and changes its potential role.

The radar can then monitor:

  • BOS order-block retests
  • CHOCH order-block retests
  • Breaker-block retests
  • Block reaction with price-action confirmation

A block touch alone is not a trade signal.

Price-Action Regime Analysis

The SMC packet also evaluates broader price-action conditions.

It can classify:

  • Expansion
  • Compression
  • Normal activity
  • Inside bars
  • Outside bars
  • NR7 candles
  • Engulfing candles
  • Rejection candles
  • Candle body relative to ATR
  • Candle range relative to ATR
  • Close location within the candle
  • Recent directional sequences

This helps distinguish a potentially meaningful structural break from a weak move inside compressed conditions.

EMA and SMA Ribbon Analysis

The moving-average engine calculates:

Exponential Moving Averages

  • EMA 8
  • EMA 13
  • EMA 21
  • EMA 34
  • EMA 50
  • EMA 100
  • EMA 200

Simple Moving Averages

  • SMA 20
  • SMA 50
  • SMA 200

The engine publishes:

  • Bullish ribbon
  • Bearish ribbon
  • Mixed ribbon
  • Compressed ribbon
  • Price above, below, or inside the fast ribbon
  • ATR-normalized distance from key averages
  • ATR-normalized moving-average slopes
  • Ribbon width
  • Compression and expansion state

Cross Lifecycle

The system monitors:

  • EMA 8/21 crosses
  • EMA 21/50 crosses
  • EMA 50/200 crosses

Each event includes direction, timestamp, and age in completed candles.

A moving-average cross remains descriptive evidence. It is not treated as a standalone instruction.

RSI Momentum Engine

The momentum module calculates:

  • RSI 7
  • RSI 14
  • RSI 21

It then evaluates:

  • Short-, medium-, and longer-period RSI alignment
  • Overbought and oversold zones
  • Bullish and bearish RSI ranges
  • RSI 50 reclaim
  • RSI 50 loss
  • Regular bullish divergence
  • Regular bearish divergence
  • Hidden bullish divergence
  • Hidden bearish divergence
  • Bullish failure swings
  • Bearish failure swings

Divergence uses confirmed pivots to reduce premature labeling.

Most importantly, an overbought or oversold RSI reading is never treated as a sufficient reversal signal by itself.

Multi-Timeframe Momentum and Structure

The advanced analysis packets are aggregated across the available timeframes.

The application publishes:

  • Multi-timeframe momentum bias
  • Multi-timeframe structure bias
  • Alignment percentage
  • Available timeframe count
  • Higher-timeframe conflict
  • MA-versus-RSI conflict
  • Strongest and weakest timeframe
  • Weighted directional score

This helps prevent a short-term bullish candle from being presented without disclosing that the H4, D1, or W1 structure remains bearish.

The Advanced XAUUSD Opportunity Radar

The standalone opportunity command center is available at:

http://localhost:5000/radar

The radar is designed to track setups before final confirmation.

Every radar candidate is explicitly marked as research-only and watchlist-only.

Candidate Families

The radar can monitor:

  • EMA20 trend pullback
  • 20-bar breakout
  • 20-bar breakdown
  • Volatility-squeeze expansion
  • Fibonacci OTE retracement
  • Fibonacci and FVG confluence
  • Inverse FVG reclaim
  • Stacked FVG continuation
  • Fibonacci-cluster retest
  • Liquidity sweep and displacement
  • Nested FVG reaction
  • Fibonacci price-and-time window
  • BOS order-block retest
  • CHOCH order-block retest
  • Breaker-block retest
  • Price-action compression expansion
  • MA ribbon pullback
  • MA compression expansion
  • RSI divergence
  • RSI 50 reclaim or loss

Information on Each Radar Card

Each candidate can include:

  • Direction
  • Timeframe
  • Setup family
  • Workflow stage
  • Grade
  • Confluence score
  • Current market price
  • Trigger
  • Invalidation
  • Target 1
  • Target 2
  • Reward-to-risk estimates
  • ATR distance to activation
  • Estimated monitoring window
  • Candle bias
  • Supporting reasons
  • Active blockers
  • Activation checklist
  • Required next action

Workflow Stages

The radar separates preparation from confirmation through stages such as:

  • Watch
  • Forming
  • Armed
  • Monitoring
  • Approaching trigger
  • Awaiting closed candle
  • Blocked
  • Triggered

A setup does not bypass the existing safety gates merely because it receives a high confluence score.

Opportunity Clusters and Heatmap

Related candidates can be grouped across timeframes.

For example, bullish Fibonacci evidence on M15, H1, H4, and D1 can be summarized as one multi-timeframe opportunity cluster.

A cluster contains:

  • Direction
  • Setup family
  • Participating timeframes
  • Candidate IDs
  • Best candidate
  • Combined score
  • Developing or blocked state
  • Human-readable summary

The timeframe heatmap shows:

  • Candle bias
  • Candle score
  • Candidate count
  • Best direction
  • Best grade
  • Best confluence score
  • Workflow state

This provides a fast overview without replacing the detailed cards.

Decision-Quality Readiness Engine

The original XAUUSD readiness engine remains part of v1.0.0.

It evaluates whether a scenario should be classified as:

  • RELEASE CANDIDATE
  • WAIT
  • BLOCKED

The readiness matrix checks:

  • Closed-candle trigger state
  • Minimum scenario score
  • Reward-to-risk geometry
  • Spread relative to ATR
  • Session quality
  • Volatility regime
  • Higher-timeframe conflict

A release candidate must pass every configured readiness gate.

This is still a research classification—not authorization to place a live trade.

Gold-Native Market Intelligence

The application supports optional gold-specific context through a verified CSV file.

The supported fields include:

  • DXY percentage change
  • US 10-year yield change in basis points
  • Real-yield change in basis points
  • Gold futures volume ratio
  • COT managed-money positioning percentile
  • Gold options IV rank
  • Put/call open-interest ratio
  • Source or provenance label

Strict Data Handling

The context loader:

  • Uses UTC timestamps
  • Rejects future observations
  • Rejects stale observations
  • Selects the latest valid point-in-time row
  • Does not forward-fill missing values
  • Does not invent unavailable inputs
  • Allows MT5 scanning to continue when context is unavailable

The intelligence packet can publish:

  • Technical score
  • Optional macro score
  • Bullish, bearish, or mixed bias
  • Confidence ranking
  • Normal, elevated, or high-risk state
  • Data-quality percentage
  • Recommended research posture
  • Supporting reasons
  • Warnings
  • Missing inputs

MetaTrader 5 remains authoritative for the tradable XAUUSD price, bid, ask, spread, geometry, and broker contract specifications.

Risk and Portfolio Controls

XAUUSD Super Agent includes multiple layers of risk protection.

Depending on configuration, a paper-trade plan can be blocked when:

  • Stop and target geometry are invalid
  • Reward-to-risk is below the minimum
  • Spread is too wide
  • Broker tick-value information is unavailable
  • Minimum lot size exceeds the risk budget
  • Daily loss reaches the configured limit
  • Weekly loss reaches the configured limit
  • Aggregate open risk is too high
  • Too many paper trades are already open
  • The session trade limit has been reached
  • Consecutive losses trigger a cooldown
  • News protection is active
  • The strategy is quarantined by drift monitoring
  • Independent evidence-group voting is insufficient
  • The opportunity is stale
  • The stop or target has already been crossed
  • Remaining live reward-to-risk has deteriorated

The software does not use:

  • Martingale
  • Grid recovery
  • Averaging down
  • Automatic risk increases after losses
  • Guaranteed-profit claims

Signal Lifecycle Management

A detected pattern does not remain permanently visible as a live opportunity.

The lifecycle system can hide a setup when:

  • It becomes too old
  • Its stop has already been passed
  • Its target has already been reached
  • Price moves too far against the original thesis
  • Remaining reward-to-risk falls below the minimum
  • The required retest is no longer current

Visible states may include:

  • Enter now
  • Active
  • Wait retest
  • Context only
  • Hidden
  • Expired
  • Stopped
  • Target passed

Historical records remain available for research even after a setup disappears from the live dashboard.

Backtesting and Walk-Forward Research

XAUUSD Super Agent includes historical research tools for evaluating strategy behavior.

The event-driven backtester supports:

  • Signal generation at candle close
  • Entry no earlier than the next bar
  • Spread
  • Slippage
  • Commission
  • Gap handling
  • Stop-first treatment when stop and target are touched in the same candle
  • Strategy and timeframe breakdowns
  • Monte Carlo analysis
  • Walk-forward parameter selection
  • Empirical confidence calibration

Walk-forward research selects parameters using past-only training data and evaluates them on later unseen windows.

This is more defensible than selecting parameters using the full dataset and then reporting results from the same data.

However, no backtest can fully reproduce:

  • Live execution latency
  • Requotes
  • Order rejection
  • Broker outages
  • News gaps
  • Variable slippage
  • Contract changes
  • Data-quality differences
  • Psychological execution errors

Persistent Ledger and Audit Trail

The application stores research and paper-trading records in SQLite and JSONL files.

Records may include:

  • Completed candles
  • Candle-rule evaluations
  • Detected signals
  • Filter decisions
  • Risk plans
  • Paper trades
  • Trade checks
  • FVG lifecycle events
  • Strategy votes
  • News blocks
  • Drift decisions
  • Portfolio decisions
  • MFE and MAE
  • Stop and target outcomes
  • Break-even eligibility
  • Partial-exit eligibility

The audit design makes it possible to answer:

  • What data was available?
  • Which rules were applied?
  • Why was the setup accepted or blocked?
  • What risk geometry was calculated?
  • What happened afterward?

AI Analysis Export

The advanced radar includes an Export Complete AI TXT action.

The export contains:

  • Up to 100 recent completed candles per available timeframe
  • Last completed daily candle
  • Candle matrix
  • Opportunity radar
  • Fibonacci and FVG analysis
  • FVG tracker state
  • FVG research report
  • SMC and price-action analysis
  • MA and RSI analysis
  • Gold intelligence
  • Current signals
  • Data-quality context
  • Research limitations

The embedded prompt instructs an external AI system to:

  • Use only supplied evidence
  • Avoid inventing missing data
  • Separate current signals from watchlist candidates
  • Prefer no-trade when evidence conflicts
  • Provide conditional triggers and invalidations
  • Reject poor reward-to-risk geometry
  • Treat insufficient historical samples as inconclusive
  • State that the output is educational research

AI commentary cannot override deterministic risk controls.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does XAUUSD Super Agent place live trades?

No. Version 1.0.0 is a research, shadow, paper-trading, and decision-support platform. It does not include an automatic order-placement path.

Does a Grade A setup guarantee a winning trade?

No. Grades rank configured evidence and setup quality. They are not guaranteed win probabilities.

Can the application work with different gold broker symbols?

Yes. The feed supports common XAUUSD and GOLD aliases. The resolved symbol and broker contract information should still be verified.

Does the scanner use forming candles?

Authoritative research decisions use completed candles. This reduces repainting and prevents the system from treating an unfinished pattern as confirmed.

What timeframes are supported?

The advanced build supports M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, and W1.

Does it include Smart Money Concepts?

Yes. It includes confirmed swings, HH/HL/LH/LL structure, BOS, CHOCH, order blocks, breaker blocks, inducement references, liquidity pools, displacement, and multi-timeframe structure.

Does it analyze Fair Value Gaps?

Yes. It analyzes open, partial, filled, inverse, nested, and stacked FVGs, Balanced Price Ranges, liquidity voids, mitigation, freshness, touch history, and multi-timeframe clusters.

Does it support Fibonacci OTE analysis?

Yes. It provides active-swing and multi-leg Fibonacci maps, OTE and golden-pocket references, premium/discount, extensions, level clusters, and time-symmetry context.

Can it export data for AI analysis?

Yes. The system can generate a structured TXT export containing closed candles and the latest research packets. AI output remains commentary and cannot override risk controls.

Can external gold-market data be added?

Yes. Optional verified CSV inputs can include DXY, Treasury yields, real yields, futures activity, COT positioning, implied volatility, and put/call information.

Are historical FVG statistics reliable?

They are research statistics subject to sample size, dataset quality, broker differences, costs, and simplified execution assumptions. The application labels insufficient samples instead of presenting them as proof of an edge.

Final Thoughts

XAUUSD Super Agent v1.0.0 brings together many of the tools commonly used in gold market analysis:

  • Candlestick analysis
  • Multi-timeframe structure
  • Support and resistance
  • Fibonacci retracements
  • OTE zones
  • Fair Value Gaps
  • Smart Money Concepts
  • Liquidity mapping
  • Moving-average ribbons
  • RSI momentum
  • Opportunity tracking
  • Risk controls
  • Paper-trade records
  • Backtesting
  • Walk-forward research
  • Evidence-based exports

Its most important feature, however, is not the number of indicators.

The real objective is to make the research process more transparent. Every scenario should explain why it exists, what would confirm it, what could invalidate it, which evidence conflicts, and which safety gate prevents release.

That does not remove uncertainty from gold trading. It makes uncertainty more visible and easier to manage.
